I’m a Staff Product Designer and leader bringing clarity to complexity.

I've spent the last decade as a designer and leader Etsy. I’ve worked across nearly every altitude a design career touches - individual contributor, design manager, and back again.

What stays consistent across all of it is the same instinct. I notice where things are disconnected before anyone's named the problem. I ask the questions that get everyone looking at the same picture. And I build the artifacts that turn ambiguity into forward motion, whether that's a gantt, a framework, a design strategy, a prototype, a spec, or a room full of the right people.

That instinct is why I feel comfortable moving back and forth between management and IC work. I thrive when coaching designers, running critique, and creating space for teams to work through hard problems. I'm adept at both roles and never closed the door on one or the other.

Some of my favorite work at Etsy has been the kind nobody had done before, where the job wasn't "execute the spec" but "figure out what the spec should even be." I'm at my best when I can bridge both sides of the problem. Naming the real issue, tracing it to its root, and setting the direction to help build the answer.
